Braeside FireOn August 14th, 2015 Acme Hose Company No. 1, along with Stroudsburg Fire, Pocono Township RIT, and Suburban EMS were dispatched to a dwelling fire on Braeside Ave in East Stroudsburg. All residents were able to exit the dwelling without issue. There was one firefighter transported to a local hospital for an unreported injury. Despite low man power from all departments crews were able to battle the blaze and get it under control quickly. Acme Hose would like readers to take note that the residents were awoken by their smoke detectors, just another reminder that properly installed smoke detectors save lives.
